Enhancing Cooperation between Uzbekistan and UNODC on Drug Control and Crime Prevention
On October 21, the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan on Afghanistan, Ismatulla Irgashev, met with Oliver Stolpe, the Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for Afghanistan, Central Asia, Iran, and Pakistan. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation with relevant agencies in the region to address various challenges.
The discussions focused on reducing drug consumption and illegal trafficking, combating organized crime, preventing corruption, and addressing terrorism.
