Ensuring the Army is Equipped with Modern Weapons and Equipment
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev was recently briefed on the progress of tasks assigned during an extended meeting of the Security Council under the presidency. The Minister of Defense presented a report detailing the implementation of the assigned tasks aimed at enhancing the combat readiness and capabilities of the troops, supplying them with modern weapons and equipment, improving the performance of the sergeants’ corps, and instilling patriotism in the youth.
Significant efforts have been made to enhance the combat readiness of the troops, improve military training, and strengthen military discipline within a short period. President Mirziyoyev highlighted the importance of digitizing military activities and instructed the gradual integration of modern automated management systems and communication systems.
Furthermore, there is a focus on enhancing the structure of the Armed Forces, equipping the national army with modern weapons and technology, and advancing the defense industry complex. The President also delegated additional tasks related to improving industry and bolstering the country’s defense capabilities.
