Erbakan Holds Meeting with Tokat Residents: Latest News Update
Fatih Erbakan, the candidate for 2nd Region deputy in Istanbul for the Welfare Party, has announced that his party will participate in the elections with their own candidates and emblem in all 87 constituencies across Turkey. The party will also be entering under the People’s Alliance. Erbakan stated that the decision was made due to the opposite bloc’s structuring, statements written in the election manifestos, and their targets.
In addition, Erbakan noted that the party’s goal is to return to parliament after 21 years, stating that the National Vision is an opinion that puts the nation first and knows its value. He stressed that the Milli Gorus staff, deputies, mayors and nationalists work for Allah and for the nation, not for positions and numbers.
Erbakan also highlighted the party’s efforts outside of parliament, including fighting for the grievances of EYT victims, making Hagia Sophia a mosque again, protecting the nation during the pandemic and raising awareness of LGBT issues. He stated that the party will fight in parliament for the generation of resources with national resource packages that benefit the nation and the country.
Finally, Erbakan emphasized the need to prevent the 7-way table by supporting the President in the Presidential elections and bringing the Welfare Party back to parliament in the parliamentary elections.
