“We are fostering a positive atmosphere with Greece and closely monitoring developments in the Balkans while strengthening cooperation with regional countries,” Erdogan stated.
In addition to the region’s immediate neighbors, Erdogan also highlighted the growing importance of Central Asia in Turkey’s foreign policy. He pointed out the significant contributions made by the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in strengthening cooperation through Turkey’s efforts.
Furthermore, Erdogan mentioned Turkey’s recent efforts to increase recognition of the sovereignty and international status of the Turkish people of Northern Cyprus.
