President Erdogan Hails Trabzon’s People and Announces New Investments
President Erdogan expressed his admiration for the people of Trabzon in a rally held on May 3. He claimed that those who do not like Trabzon must have a flawed mind and promised to provide more services to the city and its people.
The President declared that he loves Trabzon and sees himself as a son of the city. He said that love must be coupled with service, and his administration has invested heavily in the city to show his love for it.
President Erdogan announced several new investment projects for Trabzon, including the opening of the Zigana Tunnel, which connects Trabzon to Gumushane and the historical Silk Road. He claims that this tunnel will be a symbol of the region’s development. Other projects include the Kanuni Boulevard and a new light rail system.
The President also assures his supporters that his administration has invested heavily in Trabzon in the past 21 years. He cited the establishment of the second state university, the construction of dormitories, sports facilities, health facilities, social assistance, and housing projects. He says that the city hospital is currently under construction, and a project for 2550 houses for Trabzon citizens is on the way, which he hopes will benefit the city.
The President also criticized the opposition, accusing them of allying themselves with terrorist organizations and questioning their commitment to Turkey. He urged his audience to vote for his party in the upcoming election to get the country on the right track.
Overall, President Erdogan emphasized his love for Trabzon and declared that his administration would continue to invest in the city for its development.
