“ESCAPE 2” Photo Exhibition Debuts at French Institute in Ashgabat Orient.

The French Institute in Ashgabat is hosting the “ESCAPE 2” photo exhibition from March to May 2025 in the “Nadar” gallery. Building on the success of the previous exhibition “Escape – A Journey into the Heart of Digital Culture,” this year’s theme is “Reboot,” focusing on the impact of digital technologies and artificial intelligence on society.

The exhibition features works by French artists, including films, installations, and video games, that tackle important issues of the digital age. Divided into four thematic sections – “Digital Revolution,” “Code is Law,” “Welcome to the Next Level,” and “Playing Together” – the exhibition explores the relationship between humans and technology, the power of algorithms, data monetization, and the blurred lines between progress and addiction.

Visitors can also participate in an interactive installation titled “The Long Credits (of Humanity)” by French artist Antoine Schmitt, where they can leave their name and become part of digital history. The “ESCAPE 2” photo exhibition encourages contemplation on the future of technology, its potentials, and the challenges that society may face.

The exhibition is open to the public every day from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with free admission for all visitors. Experience a thought-provoking exploration of the digital age at the “ESCAPE 2” exhibition at the French Institute in Ashgabat.
