EURO 2024: National Team Opponents Revealed

The draw for EURO 2024 took place at the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall in Hamburg, Germany, bringing together leading names of the football world for a historic night. The draw included the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President Mehmet Büyükekşi and other distinguished members.

Turkey, which entered the draw in the 2nd pot, was placed in Group F with Portugal, the C path play-off winner (Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg), and the Czech Republic. The excitement of the tournament will be broadcasted on TRT screens.

EURO 2024 will feature 24 teams, with the top two teams from each of the 6 groups and the third-place from the 4 best groups advancing to the last 16 rounds. The knockout stage will feature single-match elimination.

21 teams participated in the draw while the other 3 teams, who will take part in the finals after passing the EURO 2024 play-off round held on 21-26 March. The tournament is scheduled to take place between 14 June and 14 July 2024.

Germany, Scotland, Hungary, and Switzerland will form Group A, while Spain, Croatia, Italy, and Albania will compete in Group B. Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia, and England make up Group C, and the Netherlands, Austria, France, and the Path A play-off winner will feature in Group D. Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, and the Road B play-off winner will compete in Group E.

The first and second places in the group advance directly to the round of 16. The tournament will take place in 10 cities in Germany, including Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Frankfurt, and Hamburg, with the final match set to be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on July 14, 2024.
