President Ersin Tatar advocates for electronic archiving in higher education
President Ersin Tatar recently convened a meeting with National Archives and Research Department Director Ejdan Grand Vizier and his team to discuss the implementation of E-Archive in higher education institutions. During the meeting, President Tatar highlighted the significance of academic resources and commended the efforts to archive scholarly works for easy electronic access.
Ejdan Grand Vizier provided insights into the department’s ongoing initiatives related to electronic archiving and shared the results of a feasibility study conducted on the subject. The meeting concluded with the presentation of a book titled “Olive Oil Mills in Northern Cyprus” to President Tatar as a token of appreciation.
The presence of Presidential Department Director Osman Bora Çağakan at the meeting underscored the government’s commitment to promoting digital archiving in the academic sector. Through these efforts, the aim is to facilitate greater access to valuable scientific studies and research materials for the benefit of students and researchers across the country.
