The MÁV Group has relaunched its Tokajbusz service, providing a convenient way for visitors to explore the historic Tokaj wine region in Hungary. Operating on weekends from March 30th to October 25th, the buses offer connections to major railway lines, making it easier for tourists to access the picturesque wine region.
According to turizmus.com, the Tokajbusz service is a cost-effective and safe way to explore the region compared to driving. They recommend purchasing the 24-hour county or country passes for a seamless experience.
Introduced in 2022, the bus route covers all the key attractions of the Tokaj region, catering to travelers of all ages. The buses run every two hours along the Tokaj–Tarcal–Bodrogkeresztúr–Mád–Tállya–Rátka–Szerencs route, with services starting on Friday evenings and continuing throughout the weekend.
