Strengthening Ties: Meeting Between Adjara Government and Azerbaijani Ambassador
In Batumi, significant discussions took place as Sulkhan Tamazashvili, the Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, met with Faig Guliyev, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Georgia. The meeting, which also included Consul General Fuad Azizov, aimed to explore the current bilateral relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan, as well as to discuss opportunities for further enhancing their partnership.
Key topics included the tourism potential of the Adjara region, with Tamazashvili providing detailed insights into ongoing infrastructure projects. The conversation highlighted the multifaceted nature of the partnership, which extends into cultural, humanitarian, economic, and educational sectors.
Ambassador Guliyev also held a meeting with Georgian Minister of Culture, Elisso Bolkvadze. They focused on strengthening Azerbaijani-Georgian relations through an expanded cultural cooperation and the potential for joint projects.
