Exploring the Creative Legacy of Magtymguly Fragi in Kyrgyzstan
The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kyrgyzstan recently hosted a lecture at Kyrgyz State University on the renowned poet-philosopher Magtymguly Fragi, a prominent figure in Turkmen literature. The audience learned about the importance of Magtymguly Fragi’s creative legacy, which is characterized by profound philosophical ideas that have stood the test of time.
In addition to discussing Magtymguly Fragi, attendees were also introduced to the latest book by Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, titled “Anau – culture from the depths of millennia.” This book serves as a valuable resource for understanding the rich cultural heritage and history of Turkmenistan.
The event concluded with a screening of a documentary film about Magtymguly Fragi, shot in Kyrgyzstan, shedding light on his life and work. Similar lectures are scheduled to take place throughout 2024 at various universities and secondary schools in Kyrgyzstan, as part of the diplomatic mission’s collaboration with the Ministry of Education.
