
Exploring the Future of Digital Education: Highlights from Conference 2024

The World Conference “Digital Education 2024” was recently held in Shanghai, China from January 29-31. The global forum saw the participation of over 800 delegates from 70 countries, including 20 educational leaders, as well as a delegation from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency.
The primary objective of the conference organizers was to propel education to a new level of development by integrating advanced technologies into the field. The transformation of digital education at the international level ensures equal access to high-quality education and supports the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Emphasis was placed on the importance of studying Chinese experience and fostering relations with China in this area. During the conference, representatives from the People’s Republic of China underscored the significance of elevating diverse and multilateral cooperation to advance digital education on a global scale.
The newly established World Alliance for Digital Education commenced its official operations within the framework of the forum. The alliance aims to foster cooperation and unite leading higher education institutions in the field of digital education. Furthermore, participants deliberated on issues related to the development of artificial intelligence.
Attendees highlighted that China’s digital education sector will actively learn from the best practices of representatives from other countries and implement new strategies to contribute to the construction of a digital education society.
The conference served as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and strategies to elevate the standard of digital education on a global scale.
