Explosion of Ramadan ball causes chaos in Sivas
A tragic incident occurred in the town of Sivas Gürün during Ramadan when a man, identified as B.Ş. (72), was seriously injured while attempting to explode a bomb known as the Ramadan ball. According to reports, the man was trying to detonate the bomb when it exploded in his hand, causing injuries to his hands and face. He was immediately rushed to Gurun State Hospital and later transferred to Sivas Numune Hospital for further treatment. B.Ş. retired from Gürün Municipality 11 years ago but continued to serve the municipality even after retirement.
