Extended Deadline for Turkmenistan Citizens to Apply for Russian University Studies
Good news for citizens of Turkmenistan aspiring to study in Russian universities! The government of the Russian Federation has extended the deadline for accepting applications within the quota for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Previously, the application campaign was scheduled to end on November 1. However, according to the Telegram channel “Russian House in Ashgabat,” the deadline has now been extended until December 1.
To apply, interested individuals can access the registration information system through the provided link. The application process requires filling out a form, attaching a photograph, as well as scanned copies of a foreign passport and educational documents. Once the form is completed, it must be submitted through the portal for verification by the Roszagran institution (Rosotrudnichestvo).
For any inquiries regarding the selection of candidates, individuals are advised to contact the Rossotrudnichestvo representative offices abroad or the diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation.

To provide potential applicants with information about studying in Russia, meetings have been held at the Russian House in Ashgabat since mid-September. These meetings give participants an opportunity to learn about the possibilities of studying in Russia, the admission requirements, and receive answers to their questions.
It is worth mentioning that in the previous academic year (2023-2024), 250 Turkmen citizens were granted the opportunity to study for free in Russia.
