EYT Applications: Minister Bilgin Promises Payment by Month’s End
Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Bilgin, recently spoke about the latest updates on the People Coming to Retirement Age (EYT) during a live broadcast on NTV. In his speech, he addressed different topics such as the withdrawal of Muharrem Ince from the candidacy and Kemal Kilicdaroglu’s claim on Russia.
According to Bilgin, a dirty operation is unacceptable, and he believes that the address of the operation is in Pennsylvania. He also stated that Kilicdaroglu should reveal any information about the Russians if he had any.
As for the upcoming election, Bilgin is confident that President Erdogan will win the election in the first round. He dismissed surveys with different results, calling them “artificial surveys” made like a tape operation, and said that they may include FETO members.
The most significant announcement made by Bilgin was regarding EYT applications. He said that the total number of applications has exceeded 1.7 million, and 1 million EYT members were already paid. He assured that all EYT members would receive their payments by the end of the month, including their accumulated salaries and holiday bonuses deposited into their accounts.
Bilgin also said that the minimum civil servant salary would be 22 thousand liras and that they would make arrangements from the lowest to the higher with the welfare share. Additionally, he announced an increase in pensions, where more than 7 thousand 500 pensions would receive an increase based on their salary.
Finally, Bilgin talked about the scope of 3600 additional indicators and how they would ensure missing parts to get their rights.
Overall, Bilgin’s speech provided detailed information for the public, especially for EYT members in Turkey. The government’s arrangements are expected to bring relief to those affected by the retirement age restrictions.
