Fatal Collision Between Motorcycle and Tanker in Manisa
Tragic Accident on Manisa-Menemen Highway Leaves Motorcyclist Dead
A fatal accident occurred on the Manisa-Menemen highway in Yunusemre district around 11:00 PM. The incident involved a fuel tanker with the plate number 34 EBC 128, driven by Serdar Ağca, and a motorcycle with the plate number 80 ALL 694, driven by Mahmut Kara.
The tanker collided with and crushed the motorcycle, resulting in the tragic death of Mahmut Kara. The young rider was dragged under the tanker along with his overturned motorcycle. Despite the efforts to save him, Kara succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident.
After receiving notification from the surrounding witnesses, authorities quickly arrived at the scene. Kara’s body was transferred to the morgue of Manisa Merkezefendi State Hospital for further examination. Meanwhile, the tanker driver, Serdar Ağca, was detained and taken to the gendarmerie station in Muradiye District.
According to sources, Mahmut Kara was a university student who also worked as a trainer and a courier at a döner restaurant in his spare time. The investigation into the tragic accident is still ongoing as authorities work to determine the exact cause of the collision.
