Fatal Collision Between Truck and Taxi Leaves 2 Dead and 5 Injured
A tragic accident occurred in İpekyolu Caddesi Kizir location when a truck managed by FT collided with a commercial taxi managed by AY. The license plate number of the truck has not yet been learned. The collision resulted in injuries to taxi driver AY and 6 people in the vehicle, 5 of whom were Iraqi nationals. Despite the efforts of medical teams, one of the injured, Nevzat Ç., was taken to Silopi State Hospital, and Iraqi national Eyüp A., did not survive.
Nevzat Ç. and Eyüp A.’s bodies were sent to Şırnak State Hospital for autopsy, as the investigation into the accident continues. It was revealed that the commercial taxi was on its way to Habur Border Gate, adding to the tragedy of the situation.
