Fatal Shooting Marks End of Women’s Dispute
A tragic incident occurred in Düzce as a woman shot and killed her neighbor during a fight. The incident took place on Necmettin Erbakan Street in the Konuralp district around 18.15. The woman, identified as SB, allegedly shot her neighbor Özlem Alcan multiple times with a gun after an argument. Following the shooting, SB called the police and expressed her willingness to surrender. Upon arrival, the police and medical teams confirmed the death of Özlem Alcan and detained SB. The body of the victim was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy, while an investigation into the incident has been launched. This tragic event serves as a reminder of the importance of conflict resolution and peaceful communication to avoid such senseless acts of violence.
