Fateful Encounter: Olgun Şimşek and Emre Kıvılcım in Black Tree Destanı
TRT 1 has unveiled the first trailer for their upcoming series “Kara Ağaç Epic”, featuring a star-studded cast including Olgun Şimşek, Emre Kıvılcım, Meltem Akçöl, Özlem Conker, Hakan Boyav, and Merih Öztürk.
The series, which is being produced by Hasan Kural and directed by Ufuk Hakan Eren, is set to captivate audiences with its epic storytelling in a setting that combines the ancient lands of Anatolia with the 1950s and 1970s.
Fans can expect a compelling storyline that intertwines themes of power, feudalism, class conflicts, and love through the tree system. Furthermore, the series boasts a stellar lineup of actors, including the return of master actor Olgun Şimşek to television after a long hiatus, as well as the highly-anticipated collaboration between Şimşek and rising star Emre Kıvılcım.
In addition to the leading roles, “Kara Ağaç Epic” also features strong performances from Meltem Akçöl, Özlem Conker, and Merih Öztürk. The series is currently being shot in the abandoned Soğanlı village of Kayseri’s Yeşilhisar district, as well as Nevşehir Ürgüp.
