Fenerbahce and Adana Demirspor: Super League’s Most Aggressive Teams
Bitexen Giresunspor was the team with the most yellow cards in the Spor Toto Super League last season. They received a total of 89 yellow cards, followed by Kasımpaşa with 87 and Istanbulspor with 82. These three teams had the highest number of yellow cards among the league’s participants.
On the other hand, MKE Ankaragücü proved to be the most gentlemanly team, as they received the least number of red cards among all the teams that completed the season in the Spor Toto Super League. The team from the capital was only shown 2 red cards during the season, earning them the title of the most disciplined team in the league.
However, the team with the highest number of red cards during the season was Atakaş Hatayspor, with 2 red cards shown to their players. Unfortunately, due to earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş, the team had to be withdrawn from the league.
Interestingly, referees applied for their red cards the most in the 7th week of the season. During that week, 7 players left their teams missing with the red card shown. All teams completed their matches in the 6th, 21st, 26th, and 35th weeks of the Super League.
