Fenerbahçe Stands Firm: We will not support this mentality – Latest Sports Update
Fenerbahçe General Secretary Rejects TFF’s Request for Joint Press Conference
Fenerbahçe General Secretary Burak Kızılhan has made it clear that the club will reject the Turkish Football Federation’s (TFF) request for a joint press conference ahead of the Super Cup. Kızılhan stated that while TFF asked for their opinion on the matter, Fenerbahçe will not be participating in the joint press conference.
The decision comes in the midst of heated discussions following a derby match, with Kızılhan accusing Galatasaray of continuing a “lying operation” and attempting to create victimization where it does not exist. He criticized Galatasaray’s attitude and stated that they are both seeking moderation while trying to manipulate the situation.
Kızılhan also highlighted a particular incident in the match, where he believed a penalty should have been given for a handball. He questioned why this issue was not being addressed and called for justice in the matter.
In addition to their rejection of TFF’s request for a joint press conference, Kızılhan made it clear that Fenerbahçe will not engage in any joint activities with Galatasaray at the same table. This includes the press conference for the upcoming Super Cup.
With tensions running high between the two clubs, it remains to be seen how this decision will impact their future interactions and the organization of the Super Cup. As the competition approaches, both Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray will have to navigate the situation carefully in order to maintain professionalism and sportsmanship.
