OSCE Reaffirms Commitment to Long-Term Cooperation with Azerbaijan
In a recent joint press conference, OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu emphasized the organization’s dedication to fostering long-term cooperation with Azerbaijan. This statement was made alongside Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, highlighting the strengthening diplomatic ties between the two entities.
Sinirlioglu expressed his intentions for collaboration further, noting that similar commitments were conveyed during his meetings in Armenia and Georgia. This reflects a broader regional approach to stability and cooperation in the South Caucasus.
The OSCE Secretary General also remarked on the significant progress made in peace efforts between Azerbaijan and Armenia. He referred to the consensus on the text of a peace treaty as a "great achievement," marking a crucial step toward resolving lingering tensions in the region.
