Vincent Aboubakar Returns to Beşiktaş Lineup After Exclusion
After being excluded from the Beşiktaş lineup for the last 10 Super League matches, Vincent Aboubakar is set to make his comeback. The Cameroonian striker, who recently returned from the African Cup of Nations, had his exclusion decision lifted and is ready to once again take the field for his team.
According to Fanatik’s news, coach Fernando Santos had a meeting with Aboubakar before the Konyaspor match. Santos assured the striker, stating, “You are the best striker in the team. Let’s not talk about what happened before me. There is tomorrow in football. This is the only truth for all of us.”
In response, Aboubakar expressed his commitment to the team, saying, “That process developed outside of me. I only care about my football. I have not said a word to anyone, including my family. I want to give my answer to everything on the field. I did this in every club I played for. I want to repeat it here too.”
Addressing transfer offers, Aboubakar shared, “I left all the offers until the end of the season. The only thing in my life right now is to support Beşiktaş with my football. At the end of the league, we will meet with the club and make a joint decision.”
