FETÖ Members Caught Fleeing to Greece

Four FETO suspects and five irregular immigrants were apprehended by authorities in Edirne as they were planning to flee to Greece illegally. The Anti-Terrorism Branch of the Provincial Police Department intercepted a truck in the city center based on information they had received.

Upon searching the truck, officials found 4 FETO suspects trying to escape to Greece, along with 5 irregular immigrants and 2 individuals suspected of being involved in human trafficking. Following standard procedures, the irregular migrants were transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Immigration Administration.

Meanwhile, the suspects were taken to the Edirne Courthouse. One of the FETO suspects and the individuals linked to human trafficking were ordered to be detained by the judge, identified as Ü.E., DK, and BK. The other three suspects were released after providing their statements at the prosecutor’s office.
