Fidesz Politician MEP Magyar Calls for Adherence to Brussels’ Migration Rules
Hungary’s ruling Fidesz party, led by communications director Tamás Menczer, is taking a firm stance against what they see as the dangerous migration policies set by Brussels. In a video posted on social media, Menczer highlighted quotes from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Liberal MEP Guy Verhofstadt, which suggest an open-door policy for legal migration into Europe.
Menczer accused Brussels of making immigration legal, organized, and even mandatory through the creation of migrant quotas and the establishment of “migrant ghettos”. He warned that this so-called “migration pact” could lead to violence and harm to European citizens at the hands of illegal migrants.
The Hungarian government is standing firm against these policies, with Menczer declaring that they choose to prioritize the safety and well-being of the Hungarian people over allowing unfettered immigration. The Fidesz party is pushing back against the pro-immigration rules set by Brussels and advocating for stricter border controls to protect their citizens.
