A Fire Breaks Out in a Shopping Mall Parking Lot in Istanbul
A fire broke out in a vehicle located in the indoor parking lot of a shopping mall on İstinye Qatar Street in Istanbul for reasons that are currently unknown. The incident caused panic among shoppers and employees as smoke filled the shopping center.
Upon receiving notice of the fire, police, health, and fire brigade teams were immediately dispatched to the scene. Thanks to the quick intervention of the shopping center officials, the fire was extinguished, and the fire crews worked to cool the vehicle down to prevent any reignition.
Due to the smoke from the fire, the inside of the shopping mall was surrounded, leading the teams to evacuate the citizens inside as a precautionary measure. Once the area was deemed safe, the citizens were allowed back into the shopping mall.
