First Residential Quarter Laid in Gubadli City with Foundation Stone
President Ilham Aliyev Breaks Ground for Residential Quarter in Gubadli
On May 4th, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, visited the city of Gubadli to attend a groundbreaking ceremony for the first residential quarter in the area. During the event, Vahid Hajiyev, the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, briefed President Aliyev about the project.
The residential quarter will cover an area of approximately 2.6 hectares and will consist of 156 apartments, including 48 two-room, 68 three-room, 20 four-room, and 20 five-room apartments. The project is expected to provide comfortable and modern living spaces for residents in the city of Gubadli.
During the ceremony, President Aliyev laid the foundation stone for the construction of the residential quarter, which is a significant step towards the development of the area. The project will provide employment opportunities for local residents and boost the local economy.
The Gubadli region is one of the areas that was liberated from Armenian occupation during the 44-day war in 2020. The creation of new residential areas in the region is part of the reconstruction process to restore normal living conditions for people after the conflict.
President Aliyev has emphasized the importance of infrastructure projects and the revitalization of the liberated territories. His visit to Gubadli and the groundbreaking ceremony for the new residential quarter is a manifestation of his commitment to this goal.
