Kyrgyzstan’s Fiscal Reform Showing Positive Results
The Minister of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan, Daniyar Amangeldiev, has expressed satisfaction with the effectiveness of the country’s fiscal reform during a press conference in Bishkek. He announced that the reforms have been yielding positive results, with the adoption of two new versions of the Tax Code and the implementation of new tax regimes. The state has also transitioned from the license system to a more stable accounting system.
Amangeldiev reported that the growth rate of tax revenues has reached 28 percent, while trade and services have seen a growth rate of 37 percent. These figures indicate a positive trend in the country’s economy, signaling a period of rehabilitation and stability. The Minister emphasized the importance of transparency in all trade activities, stating that it leads to the whitening of the economy and enhances its predictability. He also stressed the need to continue these reforms in order to sustain economic growth in the future.
