Değirmenlik-Akıncılar Municipality Organizes Food Safety and Basic Hygiene Training for Workplaces
Değirmenlik-Akıncılar Municipality is once again organizing a training course for food-related workplaces that are unable to attend food safety and basic hygiene training. The training will take place on December 5 at the Municipality Özle Türkel Activity Center Conference Hall, starting at 14.00.
According to the Municipalities Law, it is mandatory for personnel working in food-related workplaces to be knowledgeable and trained in hygiene. Therefore, at least one person from each food-related business is required to attend the training. The previous food safety and basic hygiene training sessions were held on November 21 and 28.
The law covers various fields of activity, including off-licenses, groceries, markets, supermarkets, restaurants, buffets, cafeterias, delicatessens, bakeries, patisseries, butchers, meat and dairy businesses, slaughterhouses, factories, water production and sales facilities, ice manufacturing, food warehouses, wholesalers, cold storages, food import and export companies, olive processing and packaging, nursery and school canteens, chick production facilities, and night clubs.
It is essential for businesses operating in these fields to comply with the law and ensure their personnel are adequately trained in food safety and basic hygiene practices. The training provided by Değirmenlik-Akıncılar Municipality aims to uphold the standards of hygiene and safety within the food industry, ultimately contributing to the well-being of consumers.
