Forbidden Love: The Secret of 3 Bodies in a Pit in Hatay
A 7-month pregnant mother and her two children, ages 1 and 2, have been found dead in Iskenderun district of Hatay. The pregnant woman, 33-year-old Selma Abacı, and her children had been missing for five days before the gendarmerie teams found their bodies on a plateau and shocking details about their deaths emerged.
The follow-up teams, known as the JASAT, physically tracked Turgay K. and detained him as a suspect after an intense chase. Following successful interrogation, Turgay K. confessed to killing the pregnant mother and the two children.
After the confession, the gendarmerie teams found the bodies of the victims buried in a pit in the Demen Plateau of Bitişik District. The deceased, who had been shot with a hunting rifle, were taken to the morgue for further investigation.
It was later revealed that the suspect, Turgay K., had an illicit relationship with Selma Abacı and was the father of the two children he killed.
