A foreigner has been detained in Kyzyl-Kiya with 15 kilograms of hashish, according to the press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS).

The state committee conducted an investigation into a criminal drug group that organized an international drug channel along the Tajikistan-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan route. During the investigation, 15 briquettes of hashish with a market value of 6,500 million soms were seized from a member of this group.

The detainee admitted that he was planning to transport the drugs to the Fergana region of Uzbekistan and sell them.
