Foreigner Caught Attempting Robbery in Tokmak City
KYRGYZSTAN: FOREIGNER DETAINED FOR ATTEMPTED ROBBERY IN TOKMAK CITY
A foreigner was detained in the city of Tokmak after attempting to rob a store, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alarm from a protected store, and upon arrival, officials found the man attempting to flee through a window. During the detention, the man reportedly resisted arrest and attacked police officers with an iron mount and screwdriver. The detainee, a 40-year-old citizen of a neighboring state, is currently in custody and under investigation.
The suspect has been handed over to the operational investigative group of the Tokmak police department, and the investigation is ongoing.
