Foreigners Arrested in Brawl: Criminal Case Under Investigation
A criminal case has been opened in Bishkek following a report of local residents being beaten by foreigners. The investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of Sverdlovsky district of Bishkek provided this information to 24.kg news agency.
The case falls under Article 280, part 2, paragraph 1 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As of now, three foreign citizens have been detained and placed in the temporary detention center of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
The Internal Affairs Department of Sverdlovsky district of Bishkek is reminding the public that individuals who violate public order and norms of generally accepted behavior, or commit other crimes, will be held accountable according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
