Former Deputy’s Daughter Arrested
Bishkek – The director of Besh-Sary LLC, who is also a current deputy of the City Council, has been detained in Bishkek. According to the press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS), Nargiz Zholdoshbaeva, the daughter of former parliament deputy Kamchybek Zholdoshbaev, was apprehended as part of efforts to uncover fraudulent activities within the company.
The SCNS revealed that Besh-Sary LLC was involved in the appropriation and transfer of private property to third parties, as well as evading tax payments on a large scale. Despite reducing rent for entrepreneurs by 30 percent following explanatory work in November 2023, the management of Besh-Sary allegedly planned to increase rental prices back to previous levels, leading to discontent among entrepreneurs.
As a result of these revelations, Nargiza Zholdoshbaeva was detained on April 29 and taken to the SCNS pre-trial detention center. The investigation into the case is ongoing, and further details are expected to be disclosed as the probe progresses. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
