Former President Katalin Novák Speaks at London Conference
Former President Katalin Novák, who recently stepped down from her duties due to a scandal involving a presidential pardon, will be making a public appearance in London soon. She is set to be a speaker at a conference organized by The Alliance for Responsible Citizenship (ARC).
After her resignation, Novák co-founded X-Y Worldwide, an NGO dedicated to fighting against infertility. While the organization has been quiet lately, her co-founder Stephen J Shaw has announced that they will both be keynote speakers at the upcoming ARC Conference.
Described on the ARC website as a mother of three children and the first woman to hold the position of President of the Republic of Hungary, Novák has a rich history in Hungarian politics. The conference, scheduled for February 17-19 in London, is expected to host around 4,000 participants, including politicians, journalists, conservative researchers, and influencers.
The ARC, founded in 2023, boasts a lineup of esteemed personalities such as conservative psychologist Jordan Peterson, former Australian Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson, and individuals associated with the British Conservative Party.
It is worth noting that Novák came under fire for pardoning a man allegedly involved in a pedophile case, which led to widespread outrage in Hungary. In response, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán initiated a constitutional amendment, prompting Novák and former Justice Minister Judit Varga to submit their resignations and retire from politics.
