Former State Minister Güneş Müftüoğlu Passes Away in Ankara
The former State Minister Güneş Müftüoğlu has passed away in Ankara. Müftüoğlu, who previously served as a Zonguldak Deputy in the 18th and 19th terms and as Minister of State in the 50th Government, will be honored in a ceremony at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey tomorrow at 11:00.
Müftüoğlu, who was born in 1945 in the Çaycuma district of Zonguldak, graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law. He worked as a freelance lawyer before entering politics. Müftüoğlu was married and had two children.
Following the ceremony, Müftüoğlu’s body will be buried in his hometown of Zonguldak. The former State Minister leaves behind a legacy of public service and dedication to his constituents in Zonguldak. His passing is a loss for the Turkish political community, and his contributions to the country will be remembered and cherished.
