The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) is set to announce September inflation data tomorrow at 10:00, with expectations running high for both homeowners and tenants. The data will have a significant impact on various sectors, including housing rents and market prices.
The September Inflation Expectations Survey has recently been concluded, with 17 economists participating in the study conducted by AA Finans. The average inflation expectations for September among economists stood at 2.09 percent, with individual predictions ranging from 1.50 percent to 2.50 percent. Analysts project that annual inflation, which was recorded at 51.97 percent in the previous month, is expected to decrease to 48.11 percent based on the survey results.
Looking ahead to the end of 2024, economists’ inflation expectations stood at 43.23 percent in August. In terms of recent data, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) saw a 2.47 percent increase in August, while the Domestic Producer Price Index (D-PPI) rose by 1.68 percent on a monthly basis. Annual inflation figures for consumer prices and domestic producer prices were reported at 51.97 percent and 35.75 percent, respectively.
