29 October Celebrations in Istanbul: Free Concerts Across the City
The city of Istanbul is gearing up for the 29 October celebrations with a series of free concerts happening across various districts. From Yenikapi to Basaksehir, Sultanbeyli to Bayrampasa, music lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy performances by some of Turkey’s top artists.
In Yenikapi, the celebrations will kick off with a DJ Burak Yeter set followed by performances from Incident and Emir Can İğrek. Meanwhile, in Basaksehir, the Water Valley will host an Eypiyo and Edip Akbayram concert on 27 October as part of their free concert program.
Sultanbeyli’s City Square will also be buzzing with music on 28 October as Koliva and Onur Akın take the stage to entertain fans. Over in Hunters, Sıla and Ali Altay will be performing at the Ambarlı Sahil İspark on 29 October.
Residents of Atasehir can look forward to a torchlight procession and DJ Del Castio performance on Ataşehir Boulevard on the same day. Bakırköy’s Republic Square will host the Icon Concert on 29 October starting at 21.00.
In Bayrampasa, Haluk Levent and Emrah Karaduman will be performing at the Adapark Amphitheater on 28 and 29 October respectively. And last but not least, the districts of Beşiktaş, Şişli, and Beyoğlu will feature a concert by Athena at Barbaros Square on 29 October at 20.30.
