Free Tinting for All Public Buses in Tashkent

Tashkent Introduces Tinted Windows for Buses to Enhance Passenger Comfort and Save Energy

In an effort to provide a more comfortable experience for passengers and reduce fuel and electricity consumption needed to cool the bus cabins, buses running on natural gas and electricity in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, have been permitted to have tinted side windows.

The press service of “Toshshakhartranskhizmat” confirmed that buses with tinted windows are now operating in the city. This initiative aims to create a pleasant environment for passengers while also conserving energy resources.

All buses under the ownership of “Toshshakhartranskhizmat” are allowed to have their side windows darkened free of charge. This not only improves the overall comfort of the buses but also helps save on fuel and electricity consumption that would have been required for cooling the bus interiors.

To support this initiative, the Traffic Safety Service of the MIA Public Security Department will provide “Toshshakhartranskhizmat” with 144,400 square meters of film for tinting the windows.

The decision to tint bus windows is in accordance with paragraph 37 of the statement of tasks issued by the President, following his visit to Chilanzar district in May of this year. The government aims to prioritize the comfort and convenience of public transportation users in Tashkent.

It is worth noting that earlier this year, Kun.uz drew attention to the necessity of tinting the side windows of all buses in the city free of charge.

The implementation of tinted windows on buses in Tashkent is expected to enhance the overall comfort and satisfaction of passengers, as well as contribute to energy conservation efforts in the city.
