
Free Wi-Fi Now Available at Train Stations and Stations – CNN TÜRK Breaking News

Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu has announced the launch of free internet services at 63 train stations and stations across Turkey. Since the implementation of Wi-Fi, an average of 2,576 users per day have accessed the service, benefiting a total of 124,713 citizens.
The initiative, which initially started at high-speed train (YHT) lines in Ankara, has now expanded to include key locations such as Istanbul, Eskisehir, Konya, Sivas, Malatya, Kars, Erzincan, Batman, Mardin, Diyarbakir, and Van. Minister Uraloglu emphasized the goal of providing a more comfortable and modern travel experience for passengers.
The free Wi-Fi service not only allows passengers to stay connected while on the move but also enables them to make productive use of their waiting time. Minister Uraloglu assured the public that high security measures have been put in place to safeguard users’ data and privacy.
Furthermore, Uraloglu expressed the government’s commitment to digital transformation projects, with the aim of making TCDD a leader in modern transportation. The ultimate objective is to enhance the overall travel experience for all citizens, by providing cutting-edge services such as free internet access at all stations and stations nationwide.
