Fuel Cell Technology Discussed at the OTAĞ Meeting

The Presidency of Defense Industry (SSB) has held a meeting to manage the transformation in defense industry technologies and to plan, monitor, and support technology acquisition studies with a holistic approach. The Focus Technology Network (OTAG) Meeting was held in the field of Fuel Cell Technologies and aimed to provide R&D capability in the field, determine priority issues, and increase university/industry cooperation to study these issues. The meeting was attended by over 100 representatives from 8 institutions and organizations, 26 companies, and 16 universities with experience and knowledge in the field.
Under the leadership of SSB, three Focus Working Groups were formed to study the Fuel Cell Technologies, namely “Fuel Cell Module/Stack Development,” “Storage and Supply Systems,” and “Fuel Cell System Components.” The activities of Fuel Cell Technologies OTAĞ are planned to continue for approximately one year. The team aims to prepare the Fuel Cell Technologies Roadmap as a result of the studies carried out during this period.
It’s worth mentioning that SSB is continuously working on various defense industry technologies. Recently, Ismail Demir, the President of SSB, mentioned that they have projected their ongoing work in the field of quantum. This shows that SSB is consistently investing in various technologies to maintain the country’s self-sufficiency and defense capabilities.
