Fuzuli-Hadrut Highway Inaugurated in Azerbaijan
President Ilham Aliyev Inaugurates Fuzuli-Hadrut Highway
President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev has officially opened the Fuzuli-Hadrut highway, a strategic road connection between Fuzuli and Hadrut. The 12.3km-long highway begins at the Zafar Road and connects with the newly-built Shukurbayli-Jabrayil-Hadrut highway.
The President was briefed on the work done on the four-lane highway, which is 14 meters wide, and was pleased with its construction. At the 6.7km section of the highway, a motorway bridge has been built, ensuring seamless connectivity of the two regions.
This strategic road connection will enhance the economic growth of the two regions and help people in Fuzuli and Hadrut to have easy access to essential commodities and services. This achievement will also play a crucial role in boosting trade activities and fostering economic relations between Azerbaijan and other countries in the region.
Furthermore, this new highway will simplify transportation of goods, and it will reduce vehicle and passenger travel time from Fuzuli to Hadrut.
