Ganja Perinatal Center Receives Infant Incubators from Heydar Aliyev Foundation
Heydar Aliyev Foundation donates medical equipment to Ganja City United Hospital
The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has once again shown its commitment to improving healthcare in Azerbaijan by donating essential medical equipment to the Perinatal Center of the Ganja City United Hospital. The donation included one modern ultrasound machine and four infant incubators, providing much-needed resources for the hospital’s maternity and neonatal care services.
The gesture of support was reinforced by a visit from the First Vice President of Azerbaijan and President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Mehriban Aliyeva, along with her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva. Their visit to the Perinatal Center on March 6 highlighted the foundation’s dedication to enhancing healthcare facilities across the country.
In a statement to Report, the director of the Ganja City United Hospital, Ilkin Ismayilov, expressed his gratitude for the donation and highlighted the importance of such contributions in the medical field. He emphasized that medical institutions always receive significant attention from the state, and Mehriban Aliyeva’s visit underscored the government’s commitment to supporting healthcare services.
The Perinatal Center at the Ganja City United Hospital plays a crucial role in providing maternal and neonatal care, with four departments and 80 beds available for patients. The neonatal department alone houses 14 infant incubators, ensuring that newborns receive the necessary care and support during their critical early days.
Since its opening in 2008, the Ganja Perinatal Center has been a vital resource for expectant mothers and newborns in the region, catering to thousands of patients each year. The recent donation of medical equipment by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will undoubtedly enhance the hospital’s ability to provide high-quality healthcare services to those in need.
