Gas Cylinder Explosion on Road in Jizzakh Region
An explosion of a truck’s gas cylinder caused damage to a Lacetti car’s windshield in a recent incident in the Gallaaral district of the Jizzakh region. The event took place on May 12 at the 1015 km mark of the M-39 Tashkent-Termez highway. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
The driver of the truck, who was on his way from Bukhara, reported that the gas cylinder exploded shortly after refueling and driving for about 5 km. It was disclosed that the gas cylinder was expected to be in service until 2031.
Authorities are currently conducting investigations into the incident to determine the cause of the gas cylinder explosion. The regional police department is overseeing the case to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
