Gaza’s AP Member Outdues Europe: Double the Power!
Botenga, a prominent Member of Parliament in the European Parliament (EP), made a powerful statement during a session on Gaza at the General Assembly of the EP. As he addressed the assembly, Botenga was interrupted by laughter from the European Union (EU) Council President Poland’s Minister of European Affairs, Szlapka. Undeterred, Botenga called for respect and demanded that the council stop laughing.
