Osmaniye Gendarmerie Seizes 1 Ton of Fake Honey
The Osmaniye Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams conducted an intelligence operation in Cevdetiye Town which led to the discovery of fake honey production. The suspects, identified as EB (42) and AU (35), had been producing and distributing counterfeit honey in the area.
During the raids on the suspects’ residence and workplace, authorities seized a total of 1 ton of fake honey. The confiscated items included 36 tins, 14 jars, and 3 canisters of the counterfeit product.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the two suspects for endangering people’s lives and health. The operation conducted by the gendarmerie serves as a reminder of the importance of cracking down on counterfeit goods and protecting consumers from potential harm.
