After Seven Months, Vessel Anchored at Haydarpaşa Port Finally Moves
After being anchored at Haydarpaşa Port for more than seven months, a vessel has finally completed its passage through the Bosphorus. The vessel was under the coordination of the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services Center and accompanied by 5 pilots and several tugboats.
The vessel, which had been stationary for an extended period of time, was guided through the Bosphorus with the assistance of Rescue 7, Rescue 8, Rescue 9, Rescue 10 and Rescue 18 tugboats. After successfully navigating the waterway, the vessel was tied up at the same point again, marking its completion of the journey.
With the vessel now on the move, Bosphorus traffic has been reopened, allowing for the resumption of normal maritime activities in the area. The successful passage of the vessel has been a significant milestone after its prolonged stay at the port.
This event highlights the coordination and expertise required for the safe navigation of vessels through busy waterways, ensuring the smooth flow of maritime traffic. The vessel’s journey serves as a reminder of the importance of effective planning and execution in the maritime industry.
