Government Departments Upgrade Fleet with Cars Made in Kyrgyzstan
Bishkek – 05 September 2024 – In honor of the 33rd anniversary of Kyrgyzstan’s independence and the 100th anniversary of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, the Ministry of Finance has handed over 60 Chevrolet Tracker cars to territorial departments. These cars, manufactured at the Tulpar Motors plant in Belovodskoye village, will be used to improve the quality of work and solve transport problems in the mountainous areas of the country.
The Ministry of Finance reported that the ceremony of handing over the vehicles was attended by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov and the Minister of Finance Almaz Baketaev. The cars will be distributed among 55 territorial departments and 5 departmental divisions to aid in their operations.
This initiative aims to enhance government services in remote and mountainous regions, ensuring better accessibility and efficiency in carrying out their tasks. The event marks a significant milestone in celebrating both the nation’s independence and the historical significance of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region.
