Government Introduces Healthy Eating Program for Kindergartens Using Outsourcing Model

In an effort to promote healthy eating habits and ensure the provision of high-quality nutrition for children in state kindergartens, the government has taken a significant step by adopting a resolution titled “On Measures to Improve the Organization of Healthy Nutrition in State Preschool Educational Institutions.” This resolution aims to enhance the overall food service system and implement a “Unified Seasonal Menu” in all state preschool educational institutions by July 1, 2025.
Under this resolution, several key measures will be put in place. Firstly, there will be a gradual transition to outsourcing the food service system in state kindergartens. This move is intended to streamline operations and improve the quality of meals served to children. Additionally, the implementation of a “Unified Seasonal Menu” will be a pivotal aspect of this resolution, with food-related expenses being monitored through dedicated modules within the “Bolalar Bog’chasi” preschool education management information system.
Moreover, a nutrition system based on the “Unified Seasonal Menu” will be established in state kindergartens, with daily food expenses being calculated per child and customized to suit regional preferences and dietary needs across the nation. To oversee these changes, a Center for the Organization and Control of Nutrition in the Education Sector will be set up. This center will play a crucial role in coordinating healthy eating programs in state preschool and general educational institutions, as well as facilitating the digitalization of related processes.
Furthermore, the resolution approves regulations governing the organization of healthy nutrition through outsourcing in state preschool educational institutions. By July 1, 2025, contracts will be signed with entrepreneurs to provide healthy meals in kindergartens, thereby fully implementing the outsourced food system.
Overall, these measures signify the government’s commitment to promoting the well-being and development of children through the provision of nutritious meals in state kindergartens. Through the implementation of the “Unified Seasonal Menu” and the establishment of a structured nutrition system, the aim is to ensure that children receive the necessary nutrients for their growth and development.
