Government introduces Telegram bot for reporting public utilities infrastructure conditions

An online survey has been launched in Uzbekistan to gather crucial data on the availability of drinking water, sewage systems, and road quality, with direct public involvement. Citizens are invited to participate in the survey via the @real_holat_bot Telegram bot, taking only 2 minutes of their time. The information collected will be used to improve social infrastructure programs throughout the country.
The collected data will be used to create a geoportal that will compile information on schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, sports facilities, and other social infrastructure across Uzbekistan. This geoportal will serve as the foundation for future state investment programs.
Initial data on the quality of drinking water, sewage systems, and road surfaces in different neighborhoods was collected with the assistance of the Ministry of Employment. The current phase aims to verify the accuracy of this data through the online survey and address any technical errors with public participation.
The survey will be conducted from March 3 to 15, 2025, and all citizens are encouraged to participate. Participants are required to provide details about their neighborhood’s location, street name, and the status of its water supply, sewage system, and road conditions. Additionally, if there is a school in the area, respondents should indicate whether it has access to drinking water.
It is important to provide accurate information and complete the survey in full. The survey process does not require entering personal information or identity verification and takes approximately two minutes to complete.
The social infrastructure geoportal is being developed by the “Delivery Unit” office under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Economy and Finance. This initiative is part of the “Uzbekistan-2030” strategy and the presidential decree on “Measures for the Development of Uzbekistan’s Social and Industrial Infrastructure for 2025–2027.” Citizens’ active participation in the survey will contribute to the improvement of social infrastructure programs in Uzbekistan.
